Po wczorajszym wykładzie w CAMK uczestnicy spotkania mieli unikalną możliwość obserwacji przez teleskop m.in. Jowisza i jego księżyców, Plejad, mgławicy M42 i Betelgezy w gwiazdozbiorze Oriona oraz Aldebarana w gwiazdozbiorze Byka.
Uczestnicy zainspirowani wykładem prof. Grzegorza Pietrzyńskiego z Centrum Astronomiczne im. M. Kopernika PAN o polskim obserwatorium Cerro Murphy w Chile i jego możliwościach obserwacyjnych, omówili temat kosmicznych skali odległości do najbliższych gwiazd, mgławic, galaktyk, aż po najdalsze obiekty zaobserwowane w Głębokim Polu Webba.
Astro obserwacje zostały zorganizowane przez PTMA Warszawa w ramach międzynarodowego projektu edukacji kosmicznej CopernicusHUB.
Podczas spotkania odwiedzili nas m.in. dr Stanisław Bajtlik oraz doktoranci CAMK reprezentujący kilka krajów w tym Boliwię i Indie. Łukasz z Astronika opowiedział o udziale jego zespołu w pracach do misji JUICE (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer), która została wystrzelona w zeszłym roku przez ESA – European Space Agency w kierunku Jowisza i jego galileuszowych księżyców, które jednocześnie bezpośrednio obserwowaliśmy przez teleskop. W pracach nad realizacją tej misji brały udział również inne podmioty reprezentujące polski sektor kosmiczny m.in. CBK i POLSA.
Uczestnicy omówili również temat lotu Sławosz Uznański na ISS w 2025 roku i udziale PTMA Warszawa oraz Warszawskiego Klubu Łączności SP5KAB w projekcie ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station). Zaprezentowana została również darmowa aplikacja „ISS Live Now” oraz aktualne położenie ISS względem Ziemi oraz widok z kamer umieszczonych na pokładzie stacji.
W spotkaniu brała również udział grupa „Astro RADIO” z SP5KAB, dzięki której od godz. 20:26 zrealizowany został nasłuchu rozmów miłośników komunikacji krótkofalarskiej przez radio-przemiennik umieszczony na ISS.
Omówiony został również temat możliwości komunikacji krótkofalarskiej i satelitarnej przez katarskiego satelitę QO-100 z innymi miłośnikami astronomii oraz radioastronomii na świecie w ramach projektu CopernicusHUB.
Omówiliśmy również możliwość odbioru zdjęć Ziemi (EO / Earth Observation) z przelatujących satelitów meteorologicznych oraz możliwość nasłuchu radiowego Słońca przez amatorskie radioteleskopy w ramach modułu CopernicusRADIO.

After yesterday’s lecture at CAMK, meeting participants had a unique opportunity to observe through a telescope, among others. Jupiter and its moons, the Pleiades, the M42 nebula and Betelgeuse in the constellation of Orion and Aldebaran in the constellation of Taurus.
Participants inspired by the lecture of prof. Grzegorz Pietrzyński from the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences about the Polish Cerro Murphy observatory in Chile and its observation capabilities, discussed the topic of cosmic distance scales to the nearest stars, nebulae, galaxies, up to the most distant objects observed in the Webb Deep Field.
Astro observations were organized by PTMA Warsaw as part of the international space education project CopernicusHUB.
During the meeting, we were visited by, among others: Dr. Stanisław Bajtlik and CAMK doctoral students representing several countries, including Bolivia and India. Łukasz from Astronika talked about his team’s participation in the work on the JUICE (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer) mission, which was launched last year by ESA – European Space Agency towards Jupiter and its Galilean moons, which we also directly observed through a telescope. Other entities representing the Polish space sector also participated in the work on the implementation of this mission, including: CBK and POLSA.
The participants also discussed the Slawosz Uznanski flight to the ISS in 2025 and the participation of PTMA Warszawa and the Warsaw Communications Club SP5KAB in the ARISS project (Amateur Radio on the International Space Station). The free „ISS Live Now” application was also presented, as well as the current position of the ISS relative to the Earth and the view from cameras placed on board the station.
The „Astro” group from SP5KAB also took part in the meeting, thanks to which from 20:26 listening was carried out to listen to the conversations of amateur radio communication enthusiasts via a radio repeater placed on the ISS.
The possibility of shortwave and satellite communication via the Qatari QO-100 satellite was also discussed with other astronomy and radio astronomy enthusiasts around the world as part of the CopernicusHUB project.
We also discussed the possibility of receiving photos of the Earth (EO / Earth Observation) from passing meteorological satellites and the possibility of radio listening to the Sun by amateur radio telescopes as part of the CopernicusRADIO module.
